History 

Image Source is a full service lab offering state of the art color printing and digital and film processing to the Ventura area. As a local lab with leading edge technology, we develop our customer relationships with the same care that we develop your prized images.

Image Source began in 1985 as Hallas Color Lab. It quickly earned a reputation as the best shop in town for custom color printing and processing.

Current owner Jim Davis started with the company at its inception and worked in each of its departments before taking over the lab. With exhaustive hands-on experience, Davis personally consults with clients, supervises processing and works with staff to ensure that each print meets our exacting standards.

Our expert staffers have an average of 7 years experience at Image Source. They receive extensive training under our master technicians, and at professional training seminars. Many have backgrounds in photography and or graphic design. So they’re not only skilled in our technical processes, but also attentive to the aesthetic goals of professional photographers, artists and designers.
